Mission

In response to the mandate given by Jesus to go and make disciples, CI invests in the lives of missionaries through training, strategic coaching and care, and attending to their souls. Since 1972, our passion is preparing and sending global workers who preach and live the gospel and make disciples. We are committed to helping develop and maintain emotional, spiritual, financial, physical and mental health among all our missionaries.


Method

Transformation happens through the receiving of God’s love and giving it away to others. This happens through the prism of worship, prayer, and relational care. These methods create an ongoing culture of personal transformation that equips missionaries to see transformation happen [personally and corporately] in their relationships and mission work.


Motivation

We love because He first loved us which frees us to love and serve Him and our neighbor. As we’re transformed more and more into His image and rhythm, our mission is transformed, compelling us to invest well in one another as we make disciples of the nations.

Tim Walter

Missionary to Thailand

  • About  Tim walter

    Tim was raised in Hillsboro, Kansas and became a Christian at Abilene Christian University. After graduating, he and his wife, Sherry, prepared for full-time ministry by entering a three-year training program for church planters in St. Louis, Missouri. They, then, became missionaries in Bangkok, Thailand for thirteen years. The Walters have three biological children and have adopted three children from Thailand.

     

    Tim joined ANCF's pastoral team in 2006 and was the Senior Pastor until May 2024. Throughout their time, Tim and family, have served on the teaching team, children's and prayer ministries, led life groups, and cared and counseled the church. In early 2022, during a visit to Thailand, God spoke to Tim about returning there as a missionary. After much prayer and confirmation from the church, Tim, Sherry and their two youngest children began preparing for a move to Thailand.

     

    Tim and Sherry have prepared for their return to missions at the aid of Cornerstone International. As Tim and his family follow God on this journey of returning to the mission field, ANCF supports their vision and holds them in prayer.
